WHERE WOMEN COOK CELEBRATES ITS ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Can you believe it has already been a year since the first issue of Where Women Cook?

It seems like yesterday that we were driving up a long Oklahoma road to photograph Ree Drummond for the cover of our inaugural issue.

We loved hosting our launch party in New York City at Chelsea Market.

It was such a success and was enjoyed by so many. If you have never been to Chelsea Market in NYC, you must go. The building is a work of art.

So many of the women in the first two issues showed up to sign magazines and books and to spend time chatting with the lines of people that attended.

There were 798 new magazines launched in 2010 and we are hugely honored to receive an award by Mr, Magazine for one of the 30 most notable launches of 2010! There will also be a banquet in New York City honoring Jo Packham and Stampington for the success with the launch at min’s Most Intriguing People & Launches on Dec. 5th.

We have had the pleasure of featuring so many amazing women and so much beautiful and delicious food! (OH, the food!)

We simply could not have done this without the immensely talented women that fill the pages of our magazine, the creative team that works so diligently behind the scenes and the many, many people who read and enjoy it.

You have all meant so much to us.

Thank you, thank you, THANK you for your continued love and support and enthusiasm for the magazine that we love so dearly.

Here is to many, many more years of talented women, fabulous kitchens, personal stories, and divine recipes!

Much love,

The Where Women Cook family

P.S. Don’t forget to enter your pie recipe by Dec. 15th for the chance to win a chapter in our upcoming cookbook and $1,000 for the best submission! (That will buy an awful lot of rolling pins!)
