I am Jen O’Connor. I Love Art, Adore the Handmade and Treasure the Vintage. I am the Passionate Decorator (the Fun Mom and the Silly Friend, too!) who makes room for beauty in the everyday. And yes, I love entertain so I often find myself reaching into the cabinets to serve up something to guests. I am a cook from necessity — using what’s fresh and available to serve my gusts — I rarely follow a recipe, preferring to make it up as I go along and see how it all sorts itself out.
I am the owner & founder of Earth Angels Toys. I started my business in 2000 to share what I love from the realm of handmade and folk art and it’s been a wonderful ride since then! I feature original art created by talented contemporary female artists. Offerings include paintings, jewelry whimises of all sorts, pottery, soft sculpture and heirloom toys; these are the things I collect and celebrate in my home and personal style.
