Growing up in the Midwest, Leigh Standley began a love affair with the sweet, cool treat, ice cream.
As she has grown, so have her tastebuds and culinary skills. She loves to create and invent new artisan ice cream flavors, including Honey Lavender.
To make this possible, she insists on using a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker. It is small enough to allow her to make small test batches of her newest creations. Then when she perfects a flavor, it is big enough to make enough to share with her friends and family.
She does recommend making sure to get the canister completely frozen though for the best results!
