English Tea is one of the true delights of the earth. There is just something lovely about a steaming cup of tea served with scones, clotted cream, butter and cucumber sandwiches and gorgeous selection of cakes. And NOBODY serves a tea better than former Royal Chef Carolyn Robb and her delightful partner, (and former personal florist to Prince Charles) Sarah Champier. Watching them assemble a GORGEOUS English Tea during MaryJane’s Farm Day was one of the highlights of The Creative Connection last week in St. Paul.
With each of them having over a decade of experience as both Royal Chef (Carolyn) and personal florist (Sarah) to Prince Charles and Princess Diana, if anyone can throw an English tea, it is these two.
Their presentation was not only GORGEOUS, but informative, delightful and funny.
And the food tasted (and flowers smelled) even better than it looked.
See for yourself!
We are so honored they came such a long way to bring us so much enjoyment and lovely things to eat.
OH, and that chocolate fridge cake that we had in Carolyn’s feature in the magazine? The one so many of you emailed us about?

Yes, THAT one.
She made it for us.
And, YES, it tastes JUST as wonderful as you think it is going to!
