Where Women Cook, Celebrate! The Farm Chicks

Where Women Cook, Celebrate! is filled with amazing women. Their stories grab you and their recipes keep you coming back for more.

Today I am pleased to introduce you to Serena of The Farm Chicks. She grew up in a hippie gypsy wagon, hand-built by her father. They traveled the back roads of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Eventually her family found stability in a tiny cabin the woods on property that once had been inhabited by American Indians.

Serena spent her childhood days learning to sew on a treadle sewing machine, searching for Indian artifacts and learning to bake using a wood-burning stove, no running water, refrigeration or electricity!

Now she is married to her husband, Colin and they have 4 beautiful boys. She has also founded The Farm Chicks Show, created thefarmchicks.com, and authored The Farm Chicks in the Kitchen with her best friend, who has since retired from the business.

She now runs The Farm Chicks on her own, and recently published a second book, A Farm Chicks Christmas.

We know you will be thrilled with the contribution Serena has made to Where Women Cook, Celebrate! Get your copy today.
