Béatrice Peltre was born and raised in the countryside in northeastern France. She is a freelance food writer, stylist and photographer.
She has also authored the award-winning blog La Tartine Gourmande, and the book La Tartine Gourmande: Recipes for an Inspired Life. Her work has appeared in such places as Saveur, Food and Wine, Edible Boston, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and The Boston Globe, as well as in other international and online publications and books. She lives in Boston with her husband and sweet daughter, Lulu.
When we asked about her favorite part of the book, Béatrice told us, “I was charmed and inspired by the lifestyle feeling of the entire book. Then, being featured next to so many other female talents was such an honor!”

I have had a the opportunity to meet Bea, to sit down at a delicious meal she prepared and watch her being a maman and all of those things she does beautifully, with genuine heart.
