Hello Where Women Cook readers! My name is Tauni and I blog at SNAP! -a site where I can share social media tips, DIY and entertaining ideas. I also host a fun social media conference each spring. I am so excited to be posting here today. I first met Jo a little over two years ago and I am beyond amazed by her knowledge and skill. This time of year we do a lot of entertaining. Whether it’s guests for a football game, a fall feast or even Thanksgiving, one dish that cannot be skipped is the ubiquitous veggie tray.
Though I’d like to pretend it’s the vegetables I am interested in, I have to own up…For me, it’s all about the dip. Today I am sharing one of my favorite veggie tray dip recipes - Jalapeno Ranch Dip. This has just enough zing to make it special, but it’s mild enough that spice wimps like me can enjoy it as well…
Jalapeño Ranch Dip Recipe
Summary: This Jalapeño Ranch Dip Recipe is perfect for a potluck or holiday entertaining. Easy to make and always a crowdpleaser
Ingredients
- 2 c. mayonaise
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. chopped jalapeno (for a more mild flavor, remove the seeds)
- 1/2 of 1 chopped Roma tomato
- 1/4 bunch chopped cilantro
- 2 packets dry ranch dressing mix (I use Hidden Valley)
Instructions
- Mix first five ingredients together in a blender.
- Whisk in ranch dressing
- Chill and serve

I decided to serve my dip inside a pepper for a little color. What do you think?
