Photography: Farmer’s market eggs

Some of the most beautiful things are found in nature and every day items that we often take for granted.

Like the humble egg.

Megan buys her eggs fresh from a stand at her local farmer’s market. If you have had a lifetime of white, uniform eggs from traditional supermarkets you might not realize how varied, colorful and textured eggs straight from the farm can be. This bowl of eggs is a gorgeous mix of teals, coffees, and creams that look almost too beautiful to eat. (Though I am sure the delicious taste could woo anyone toward the direction of their destruction with little effort.). With access to eggs like these, it’s little wonder she enjoys a soft boiled egg every morning.

Wouldn’t you?
