I am a semi retired freelance cookbook and children’s book illustrator in Columbus, Ohio. I worked for 8 years until I retired 2 years ago at Gooseberry Patch and loved it there. All the employees try out the recipes at weekly potlucks and we all gain about 20 pounds working there. Even though I am retired from working fulltime, I am still illustrating their cookbooks and calendars and am very lucky to be doing so. This pork chop recipe is one of my favorite and I fixed it this evening for 11 people as I introduced my boyfriend to my whole family….and it was lovely.
